    Hey guys! How is everyone?
I bought 2 CRF150s and a CRF80 for me and my two sons this past weekend.(for Christmas!) They delivered the bikes today and I right away started them up to be sure everything was cool with the bikes.

I noticed with the 80 that the kicksatrter doesn't push ALL the way down like the 150s do. Kind of like has a definite stop area about 3/4 of the way through the stroke.
Does this sound normal? Does anyone know what I mean?
    I appreciate any help guys

we don't have an 80 but we have a 100 and they are essentially the same motor and ours stops when it hits the footpeg bracket. it doesn't sound normal at all...you should definitely check with your honda dealer...or drive by and do the same test on their floor models.

    good luck....

p.s. tell your sons that ken says they have a great dad!

    Ken,

Thanks for the quick reply buddy. I didn't exactly see what it was hitting but that sounds about right. I'll have to go over my moms house this morning to check it out. That's where I have them hidden till' Christmas.

It's just that I always thought the kickstarter should go all the way down to the 6 Oclock position on just about every bike, know what I mean?

Ill post later with my findings.

    Thanks again Ken

    Ken,

Yup you're right! The kickstarter is hitting a little tab mounted to the foot peg.

    Thanks buddy!!

You have made a great contribution to the Father-Son movement of America ;) It has been a great hobby for my son and I-we literally can't get in enough riding.
