Hi,

I recently replaced the shims on my 2005 CRF450R. After the replacement, the Kickstarter would get stuck at the top and would not want to be pushed down. It was not locked and would eventually move down but starting the bike was very difficult. I went on one ride and although tough to start at times it was manageable.

Today I only checked the decompression valve and it was tight so I adjusted it and now it is in spec. However, the problem with the Kickstarter was not sovled and it is still getting stuck at the top and makes starting the bike very difficult.

I assume I should re-check all valve clearances again. Assuming they are in tolerance range, what should I try after this?
