my 2005 CRF230F was having the shifting issues a lot of people complain about. SO last night i removed the right side cover and installed a new gearshift plate and gearshift cam. I did completely remove the spindal all the way and the spring was in the way going back in,but is now back together. now that all of the new parts are in, it seems the entire spindal slides right to left at least an inch or two. did i do something wrong? is the spring suppose to be in a certain way?
