Hey all,
Ive recently bought an 05 crf150f. Put a new cam and oil pump in it and now I cant get it to start. The spark is coming out of the side of the spark plug. Ive replaced the spark plug twice. I don't know a whole lot about bikes so any help would be appreciated. I have switched out the CDI, checked the timing again and I'm waiting for a new coil to come in. It backfires every once and a while so I know it is getting spark out of the bottom electrode sometimes but not all the time. HELP

Welcome to the site.
Have you confirmed that the new cam is timed correctly as per workshop manual?
Was the bike running ok before the cam was changed?Ray
