I know this thing generates a lot of debate, but I'll just speak for myself and the experience I had with it. I was intrigued by the Boyesen Power X-Wing insert that fits in your carb & air boot (https://www.boyesen.com/xwing-mx), so I ordered one and installed it.

And by golly the damn thing actually works. Very noticeable gains in low to mid power and throttle response. Here's a pic of it installed in my bike:



I'm holding the throttle halfway open in this pic to show how the wing intersects the slide, thereby creating an upper and lower air tract. I think it effectively makes the carb smaller at half throttle and below because it can only draw air from below the wing. Pretty neat little part!

That is good to know , i always thought it was a gimmick , or at least would not make much of a difference , but if its a noticeable difference , then there must be something to it
