    Linkage bearing replacement

    by mikezim » Tue Feb 16, 2016 1:02 pm

Hi guy. Quick question - trying to replace the linkage bearings on my 450x.

With the triangle - are all the bearings able to be pressed out? Or is there a lip separating the 2 bearings? (there is a single bearing at the front - then 2 bearings on either base of the triangle.

    Thanks

awesome thanks. Just was wondering cause these things seem to be welded in there. Super hard to press them out. Gonna use a vice in the morning.

Yea sometimes those things are hard to get to budge , once you get a little movement out of it , it should go , you might try lightly heating the knuckle and then trying to press it out

Penetrating oil - give it time to work. Works wonders. :D
