Leakdown is done with the engine on Top Dead Center , Compression Stroke 100psi at gauge , if air is heard thru Intake , then Intake Valves , if heard thru Exhaust , then Exhaust Valves , if thru Crankcase , then Rings , if thru Radiator then Head Gasket
5% leakage is about all i would accept at absolute most for a issue to be concerned about , obviously anything more would mean mandatory tear down , optimal would be 0%
