    2009 crf450 fuel in oil .

    does anyone else have any problems with fuel diluting the engine oil.I have a pim2 controller installed but i dont feel that has anything to do with it.I have replaced the injector with a new one but still have the same problem.any help or ideas would be appreciated..

    the typical cause of this is a leaky fuel injector. one of the causes for a bad injector is a fuel filter than needs replacing. some will replace the injector but not the fuel filter and this then can damage the new injector.

    also, there is a shut down procedure that many owners are not aware of or do not use. it should be used each time you shut it down.

    plip the gas then shut down
    over 40 still ridin hard

    Thanks for the help.I did know about the shut down procedure but i was hoping for a solution.I haven't heard of any other EFI'd bikes with this problem and even the newer crf dont seem to have this problem.I was hoping it was something that i could fix with a different fuel map being the new injector change out did not seem to work.I will change out the fuel filter as recommended.I'm sure that the ethanol in are fuel doesn't help out the matter.Thanks again for everbodys help.
