I will try to find a picture, but we used the mount that came with the unit. We ran Easton bars and cut out the middle of the pad and placed the unit in the middle of the pad and it made it through the Baja 1000 last year. We tried several different GPS units, the Vapor was by far the best. We crossed the line with bent bars (not easy to do with the Eastons) and two broken hand guards but the Vapor worked excellent.

this is how many of us mount the vapor/endurance/vector/lynx:

the mount is between the bar mount bolts. you'll have to shave off some of the material to clear the bar but there will still be some of that material left and the pinch force will hold it securely.

Is this the same mount you would use on a 450R, looks good on the 450X, I think it would sit over the numberplate on a 450R

    dlee,

they only have two types available. i haven't mounted the version we stock on a 450R, but i think you are correct in your statement.
