    Specials

    by Old-Man » Tue Dec 23, 2008 6:41 pm

Is it just me or is everyone getting emails everyday with specials. In the last week I must have got 20 emails from different shops offering all kinds of deals. From just a item or two discounted to lot of items. Also a lot of promo code to save $$.

I was wonder if many of you use them?

I bought quit a few items from Rockymountainatv over the last month. If you spent over $500 you got $100 off. They had lesser amounts if you bought less. It ended yesterday.

My oder from they came yesterday from them. I used the same promo codes. They have Maxima Castor 927 2-stroke oil for the best price around. It's only $22.99 for the 64oz bottle. The local stores sell it for $32.00. So I loaded up on that, and a few other nice X-Mas toys. I think my wifes going to kill me when she sees the bill. I just got the bill last week for some stuff Cycle Gear had on sale and she wasn't happy to see that one. This next one is about 4X that amount, so I'm hoping to be out of town when that bill comes.

Yeah, I bought my wife an old TW200 to chase my son around with. That being the case, she now needed boots, pants...so I thought it was a good idea to update my wardrobe as well.

This place also has some killer deals on gear. I got a helmet from them. Most of the stuff is last years model, but I don't care. http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/

Those close out deals are killer at RMatv. I got some glove for $1.99.

    Old-Man,
You've got to learn to intercept mail bud, and/or have an understanding with your USPS/UPS personnel  Doug

Getting the box isn't the issue. I just need to start paying the bills, she does that.

Years ago I had a customer what didn't want her better half knowing about all of the stuff she would order. She told me if her husbands car was out front please do not stop and deliver it. I would have to do it the next day, or call her on her cell to come pick it up over on the next block. LOL I did this for over 15 years. She would get stuff almost every day. I have no idea how he didn't know about it.

That's going to be a hard one to pull off. She knows they give free shipping over $99. The oil alone was $200. LOL I don't think it's going to be a issue. Some stuff was for her, most for my daughter and just a few little things for me.

All helmets are 40% off not including ARAI, or SHOEI. I got Christina a nice 2009 Fox helmet.

I got my wife, O'Neal 2009 women's Apocalypse pants and jersey. All apparel is 40% off, even the 2009 stuff.

I have no idea what the 70% stuff was.
