Ryt guys, last week my clutch went so i bought a new kit the other day for £70 ( genuine one ) . put the bike on its side, took the clutch cover off, took the cover thing with the springs in off and when i started to take the plates out one by one and dicovered that half of the plates where broken and bits missing and it just all looked a ryt mess. Any way i ripped them all out and then was going to take the basket out and see if any of the damaged bits had fallen deeper in behind the case, or just stuck in the bottom, but my question is how do i grip the basket in order to remove the big nut off with out using a special tool.

and also have you any more tips or advice for me as too weather its a problem and if i should just attempt to take the side casing off etc.
