    blowing smoke

    by 230@#) » Sun May 11, 2008 8:23 pm

hey we went out riding the last weekend and my little brothers CRF70 started blowing a lot of smoke out the tail pipe. It was really muddy and the motor was completely covered in mud so I am guessing it over heated. I dont know any thoughts and how hard is it to put in a new piston and rings if it needs it.

I just put new rings in a 70 and it's not that hard. I had it done in a couple of hours

On the oposite side of the head their is a bolt. Loosen it and it lets the cam cover come right off.. Let me know if you need anything else..
