    AMA Classes?

    by dirtbikermicah » Mon Jan 07, 2008 4:55 pm

Hey me and my friend got in a dispute today about the different racing classes, he says:

In the AMA, 250four-strokes, are being raced with 125two-strokes.
And the 450four-strokes, are being raced with 250twostrokes.

Obviously i had to dissagree, is what my friend is telling me true? is this really happening?
And did the AMA ban 450's from Supercross??

    Thanks
    DBM :P

I know here in D-5 (PA), they run....

    450F's in the 250 Classes
    250T's in the 250 Classes
    125T's in the 250 Classes
and of course, 250F's in both the 125T, and 250F Classes. I know some districts do a lot of things differently, so I would say call one of the representatives from your district and ask.

Here in FL Most tracks i've been to run 125 smoker and 250 thumpers together and 250 smokers and 450 thumpers toghether. The new rules for lorettas is now displacement.
    125 all buy themselves
    250 smokers and thumpers
    450 is open class
    If i was told right.
