So I used to carry a old fanny pack that was always a little awkward and constantly moving around on me especially when you huit a good long section of desert whoops. So back in september I decided it was time to upgrade my aging tool kit and bag. After some serious research I ended up with the following: 3 t-6 MP tire spoon/wrench combos(22mm,32mm,12/13mm, the 12/13 his an antipinch lip on it), Neddle nose pliers, Crecent Wrench, Gear wrenches 8,10,12mm, One applied t-handle kit w/8,10,12mm sockets, Genuine inventions tire pump/co2 pump, Zip-ty's, 3 feet duct tape, 3 feet electrical tape, 2 sets of tire repair kits, 1 21 inch HD tube(not pictured), 1 cruz tools LED flashlight, 1 brake lever, 1 clutch lever, 1 all in one screwdriver, 2 granola bars, 1 Buddy tow strap, 1 chain master link, 5 links of chain, 8 16g co2 cartridges(worth thier weight in gold), 1 spoke wrench(my ride has 6k on it and still needs spoke tightening), 1 tire buddy(this thing is the best tool in my pack), 1 valve core remover, 1 co2 air chuck, 2 sets of wet ones, 3 sets of goggle wipes, 2 shop rags, allen wrenches, a cheap cell phone, Advil, 1 target cheap 4.99 first aid kit(not pictured), 1 friends of jawbone map(or map opf area you are riding), GPS, 2 back-up batteries for the gps, Quicksteel, 1 foot fuel line,1 6mm deepwell socket, and finally one low pressure tire gauge.

This is all carried in my 1950 ogio back pack which is wonderful! I opted to use a camelback bladder as the ogio one seems to leak at times.
This setup has been much much better than the fanny pack I used to carry. Bottom line if you want to carry something my suggestion is to do a back pack and not a fanny pack.
