Ok, Mr. Newbie here again.
I never put one of these non-master link chains before.
I got the old chain off with no problem, using a chain breaker. And I also took the extra 4 links off the 120-link new chain.
But how the heck do I put on the new link? Do I need some kind of press tool?

If you don't have the Motion Pro set that does both break and press, then you can use something like this:

Ol' Joe is right... I have a chain breaker that both presses the old pin out as well as presses the new one in. Quite simple to do if you have the right tools.

Thanks Guys, I guess I need to buy that press tool. I wish the Motion Pro guys told me about the combo tool earlier.

Regarding the last question, my chain is a T-Ring chain, which is stock for the 2006 CRF 250X. It does not have a typical master link where it is secured to the chain with a circlip-like piece. It is press-fit like the other links.

I have an 06 250x as well. I am pretty sure that you still have an O-ring chain. It just uses a "T" type o-ring.

Is this all I need to complete the chain installation? Will it be enough to compress/stake the roller ends on the chain link? Or do I need another tool? I think 'stake' is the correct term to use to describe compressing the roller/pin ends.

Yeah, that's all you should need, but you have to know that there are better tools out there,. This is a mini and meant for light duty. If you can afford it, I suggest that you go for the $56.50 Part # 08-0066 CHAIN PRESS TOOL KIT. The mini is good to take on the trail for light duty. If you decide on the mini, it will server for the occasional use.
