Hello every one, some of my buddies and I are taking the backway up to Crown King from Lake Pleasant. If anyone would like to join us let me know. Please no quads or really-really slow riders. Thanks.

How did that ride go? I have always wanted to do that trip. I have ridden the easy way up but never the back way.

The ride was awesome! Was a little worried about the weather @ first, it was raining while we were loading up the bikes. North of Lake Pleasant it was partly sunny almost the whole way up, got a little snow towards the top. Right about 4 mi before we got to Crown King we ran into hard packed snow on the trail and the bikes couldnt go two feet without washing out on it so we had to turn around and go back. Got in about 90mi, enough to run my 250r on fumes when we got back to the truck. That has to be one of the best rides in Az. [/img]

That's a great ride. I did it last year with a buddy and a bunch of his coworkers... about 12 of them. I would love to make the trip out there again, but her sold his bike to get a quad!! Moron.

It's the food is good that place that's up on the hill a little.
