What can be said of RC that hasnt already been said?
I did however.. lose some praise for Windham.. I have always liked him.. but to whine about the pass RC made on him.. when he knew he was no way , and had no chance to hold RC off... was just crybaby stuff.
It was a clean pass.. RC Flat-landed the bike to get into that position..and made the pass on the much slower Windham.
RC handled it perfectly in the press conf after the race, in rebuttal to Windham saying he 'couldnt wait to repay the favor'.. by pretty much gutting Windham in front of every press member that was there.. by saying it was a clean pass, windham didnt get knocked down, and the two people that had the heart to win that night, finished 1st and 2nd. Oh, and then brought up a race in 1997 where Windham basically t-boned RC..
..(What kind of racer remembers stuff back to 1997??! )
Making it so, all eyes will be on Windham next weekend..to see if he even gets close to RC. It was a brillant mindgame and strategy by RC.
anyway.. Right now.. RC and Reed have stepped up the pace to a level NO ONE can reach..
We'll see what Bubba can do when he returns supposedley Mar 19th.. but until then.. Windham needs to either step up the to the game..or step aside. My personal opinion is hes fuming because he got LAPPED by RC and REED while he was in 3rd place the race before..and didnt like getting passed by a rider that was standing next to his stopped bike ,he just drove by a few moments before.
