    2016 CRF125FB Clutch Lever Question

    by JT3 » Sun May 07, 2017 8:05 pm

My son went down and snapped his clutch lever which I took and measured the length to be 5.5 inches long.

I ordered the OEM replacement lever (part #53178-K28-305) from the local Honda dealer and the part # is for a standard lever which ended up being an inch or more longer & hits his handguards.

The clutch perch appears stock as it has the neutral safety wires hooked up to it.

The guy we bought the bike from said everything was stock so not sure what the deal is.

I can't find ANY clutch levers shorter than standard, my son is 13yrs old and needs smaller size, on any manufacturer's site or my local dealer.

He has Renthal 7/8" inch mini bars and I was wondering if maybe a clutch lever for a CRF100 or something small like that would fit?

Does Honda mass produces the perches and just changes the length of the levers on the kid models or is the entire clutch lever, perch, and brake lever completely different?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of aftermarket options for this bike.
