When I turn the key in the ignition, the dash display does not come on.
This suddenly started about two days ago.
I really have to wiggle the key around in the ignition and remove and insert it several times before I manage to start the bike.
Battery is still good and the terminals are fastened properly.
This has never happened before.

Hi Samanjo,
Sounding like a faulty ignition switch.

Normally the key is pretty firm and can be wriggled around.

Can't say I have heard of it before though.

Ray, I also think it is ignition related
This morning I checked again and the only way I get the bike to switch on is by turning the key about 1mm anti-clockwise once it is in the "On" position

Just an Update .............
I sprayed some brake cleaner into the ignition opening and let the bike stand for 30 mins
Put the key into the ignition and turned it to the "On" position and all the lights on the dashboard came on as it should.
The bike started immediately ...... Happy Days!!!!!

Maybe a bit of contact cleaner next time.
I know some of the carb cleaners can be a bit hard on rubber bits.

Good to hear you have at least isolated issue if it rears it's ugly head again.

At least brake cleaner doesn't eat rubber.
