The manual does not list the actual diameter of the shims needed :? . Only 1000 miles so unlikely that I need it but would like to buy one in case I do.

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

Your bike should take the 7.48mm shims .... ;) ... Just get the HotCams Shim Kit , it will have all the shim sizes you will ever need for it

And most likely it will be a while till you need a adjustment , personally I would not even worry about buying the kit till you notice them change , then get it , then also prepare to eventually do a valve job , as once they start moving , they will eventually zero out , then , once you get to the smallest shim in the kit , there is no adjustment left and you will then need a valve job ..... guesstimation , it should hopefully be a few years .... your mileage may vary 8-[

Thank you. I finished it yesterday and it was well within the specs. I need to buy a feeler gauge that has more granular blades in the 0.16 and 0.27 range though.
