First impressions - picking up thsi week

tight suspension, hard seat, low seat height for under 5-10 folks - great throttle response, light, thin, feels like a dirtbike overall- not stable over 80mph with stock tires - a bit of "wobble" - probably much smoother road ride with real enduro wheels. Hoping to wear down the stock tires a bit for a smoother ride as I plan to do 80/20... No tachometer which I find odd.

I live overseas so they ahve been here 2 weeks- and I get mine today or tomorrow.

No storage whatsoever is my only issue so far - the small storage they give barely fits the tools - and doesnt even fit a pair of sunglasses... ride is super stable - very balanced up to 100kmh on street... sweeping turns feels great and the tires are perfect.

would upload some images if I could find the "upload" button here... :)

The bike handles great, the lightest 320lbs i ever felt. lacks power. Can not wait until FMF puts out a pipe, way too quiet. with a little more HP i qould rate this bike as a 9 but now it only gets a 7.

so far so good. took my first hour road trip - maintained about 65-70 the whole way - heavy winds - very stable... headlight is great - brights are amazing for evening rides. tires just getting broken in - about 400km so far... gas tank very small for trips. getting about 170/190km per tank it seems at the moment -

Since passing the break-in milestone, I have been riding mine off-road a lot more and I'm really impressed, especially considering the rear tire is more of a dual purpose tire.

Coming off a 2007 450X, when I got the bike my expectations of this bike were VERY low, especially its dirt capabilities. I'm happy to report that my appreciation for this bike grows daily.

Obviously it's a far better street bike than my 450X was, but here how it compares in OFF-ROAD mode.

    - Find it a bit more controllable given lower center of gravity.
    - You have to shift A LOT more often (up and down shift) to keep the power useable, and that's on flat sections.
    - Steers and maneuvers as well.
    - Don't really miss the power of the 450X unless I'm really hauling rear and pushing the limits of the bike (racing).
