Hi Guys, my used 250x has what appears to be a newer, yet not OEM carb (looks like a knockoff from ebay). Runs pretty good, but does not start easily. I've changed coil, spark plug, totally pulled carb apart with rejet and other mods. I'd like an OEM carb but they are hard to find and $$$$$. I found a 2008 CRF250R oem. Will it fit the 2004 crfx? I read somewhere the 2004s are 37mm and 2006 and newer are 40mm. Does that only refer to the neck and hopefully the rims which slide into the airbox and head couplers? Will it fit and will it work? Please advise. Thank you!!
