    clip position recommendation

    by dirtbear » Fri Apr 20, 2018 5:21 am

Maybe I missed it but looking thru the data base I didn't see one. The only thing I have done is cut the top of the air box. I am in maine, very close to sea level. I put the 155 main in and a red needle 3 slots up from bottom. What little riding I can do right now it seems good but once I get to open it I am afraid I will have to rip it apart again. It is way better in the low speed woods than it was. I am not that good but need it to be good thru out the range. Any import would be great. Thanks

Try posting this in the Jetting part of the forum , Leardriver is our resident carb guru , he frequents that forum more ,so he would be able to give you accurate info as to what to use or what settings to use

On a related note , when most people talk about Clip Position , its usually numbered from the top , so if its recommended on the 3rd clip position , its usually 3rd from the top , not bottom
