**Lets start out by stating that UNABIKERS take a lot of modifying to fit a 250x with the Clarke 3.0 aftermarket gas tank**

-We first took the shrouds off the bike to get a clear view of the damage to the radiator I sustained at round 8 of USDR.

-After removing the radiator hoses and unbolting the radiator we compared old to new...

Image

-Next step we took was adding a slight finger of grease to the inside portion of the radiator hoses for easier removal incase we need to fix them again. Connected hoses to new radiator and mounted up and heres where were at now..

Image

-Next is start mounting the front rooster guard of the UNABIKERS..

Image

...and then the UNABIKER braces an you should be looking like this...

Image

-Your then ready to slap your tank and shrouds back on thinking your just about done!!

Image
Image

-Anyone catch the problem?

-Yeah, the gas tank on the braces, thats the last thing I want rubbing a hole into is my $200 gas tank!

-I love grinding these P.O.S UNABIKERS!! I would have been pissed if I had the anodized set.

Image

-We then went back and mounted them up to check clearences...

Image

-Slapped the tank back on, shrouds on the left side, and then shrouds on the right side and then ANOTHER FREAKIN' ISSUE....

Image
Image

-Aux. cooling fan supports were in the way... Not no more!!

-Now mounted up and ready to rock, literally!!

Kyle, you can't expect bolt ons to just bolt on. Besides, you got to bond with the hogger :)

Your right, especially when the manufactures making after market parts make them for stock bikes.. Mine is far from that and seems like everything I buy now for it, i'm having to modify to fit. Oh well, 450 is coming soon, this is my race bike/momma's bike!
