    Make "04" CRF250X Dual sport for street legal

    I have a 2004 CRF250X with a "GREEN STICKER". I want to convert to a dual
    sport and have dual registration. What is the bare minimum I need to convert
    it to street legal in California? Also, if I do all the required parts can I
    register it as a street legal bike?

    Correct me if I am wrong AS. I don't think that you can have a new 250x street legal in CA. There are some threads on here about it.

    I beleive it has to be done when purchased. I've heard there are people that will do it for $1200. I also heard dmv is pulling plates so look into before you buy anything. I searched and there is information on the dmv website
