i need help choosing a new bike. ive been riding bikes for about 6.5 years. i just bought a 2006 crf150f and im tired of the power. im 5,6 150lbs. should i get a crf250 and have the suspension lowered, by a kouba link. what should i do. or what would be an alternative. thanks for the advice.

Welcome to the site. You can step up to a 250x and have it lowered via suspension mods or a Kouba link. You can shave the seat as well. You will be getting more than just horsepower. The suspension is quite a bit better also.

Well depends on what you ride?(Trails,Track)

You can go for a CRF230F which is a good bike for off and on riders.

A 250 would fit you if you lower the seat height with a link.

So it depends on what you want.

ive ridden the 230 and i feel it is just faster than the 150. i mostly ride trail but i ride every day because i have a 6 akor property. do you think the kouba link would make the seat height of the 250X close to the seat height of the 230f.
I need more power, and better suspension.

You didn't mention if you are still growing or not. If you are, get the 250x/r as you will grow into it. Lower it for now and if/when you grow, put the stock link back on. (FYI, acre is the correct spelling) :)
