    Flywheel weight............

    by mikey v » Mon May 28, 2007 5:47 am

Anyone know the weight difference in the flywheels on a 05 crf250r, and a 05 "X" wheel????? (I posted over in the crf "R" forum wothout much luck, so far.
I want to make my crf250R a little more "woods friendly", try to eliminate the stalling in tight woods sections; very annoying.
    Thanks in advance, Mikey

I ride woods, rock, sand, mud, you name it!
I regeared to a 13t and 50t much more useable 2nd and 3rd when you need it. M12 and S12 tires help with the bite section , also idle it up a quarter turn and readjust clutch so you can fan it around tight corners and last but not least set your sag if you are fighting with the bike and your not comfortable then adjust it, much more fun I also run ngk 9 plug instead of the 8 and 110 octane mix this will keep it running a little better.

CRF 250R Flywheel weight is 16 oz.

    thanks for the replies.
I have a used CRF250X flywheel on its way. I'll try setting the sag, and idle.
