Hello All,

It has been a while since I have posted and typically post in the 450X forum.

I am looking into doing some mods on a CRF250X. I recall previously seing a post on this issue, but was having trouble finding the post with the search function.

I know that certain years of the 250X will accept the the rear fender from the "R". Can anyone tell me which year models that is the case with?

I had previously did a similar project with my 450X and want to do it on a smaller bike now.

Any year R will fit, just not the 06' or the 07'

just did mine last week..all U have to do is zip tie the elec box to the two frame supports...
All the bolts line U perfect !!!!!

why dont you get a 250r instead of trying to make an x look like an r get an r and put all your money in that

I just have to have the electric start. I am getting up there in age, and the electric start is something I cannot give up. The added weight is worth the trade off for me.

does cycra make a rear fender for the 250r??? i have a cycra front fender already and would like to have a rear one also (without the tail light)... i looked on crfsonly store and couldnt find one... i could buy ufo but i like cycra's stuff...
