I need help waking this bike up. Jaws u suggested to go through and this is what I have some what come up with. air box mod, jd jet kit, baffle out of stock exhaust. Can you buy the jets separately or is it better just to buy the jd kit? Now I have read about the crfs only fuel screw. What exactly does that do for gain?? What about that quick shot accelerator pump? These are dumb questions I'm sure But I nees all the help I can get. Thanks in advance!!!!!

all great questions. it's better to just get the jd jetting kit. it has exactly what you need and is a plug and play jetting solution. the instructions will tell what needle in the kit to use and what jets, also from the kit to install.
the fuel screw allows you to adjust the pilot circuit (off-idle to 1/4 throttle). the pilot circuit is sensitive to changes in weather and small altitude changes. without the crf's only fuel screw you would need to rotate your carb to get the stock fuel screw. with the crf's only fuel screw all you need is your fingers.
the accelerator pump cover helps increase pump pressure off idle to eliminate bog when you get on the throttle quickly. my recommendation would be to install the jd jetting kit and see how your bike responds. you will likely not need the boyesen accelerator pump cover.
hope this helps.

Yeah, redneck, what Ken said, plus, in the JD kit you will find two small rubber o-rings. These are to change the accelerator pump timing. That will most likely end any bog you might still have after the JD Kit needle and main jets. You may have to go up one jet size on the pilot as well. That doesn't come in the JD kit, but is available from your Honda dealer, or a KTM dealer for about $7-$12. You can do your own jets from the dealer if you wish, but the JD kit is simple and gets the job done easily and correctly.
