adding a hotcams stage 1 cam to my bike this week and have a couple of questions... hot cams recommends not to use synthetic oil for the break in period...

#1- why is that??? i'm assuming synthetic is too slick but i don't understand why that would be a bad thing...

#2- what is a good non synthetic oil to use for break in??? right now i run rotella synthetic in both sides and plan to go back to it as soon as possible...

1. Mating surfaces have to "mate" So, a little wear in is necessary.
2. Just use Honda GN4, then go back to rotella.
