    Headlight Choice?

    by woodsman » Fri Feb 23, 2007 6:16 pm

    https://www.bajadesigns.com/NET/mainfra ... x?content=

This is what I'm considering for my 2005 crf250x
On the website it mentions 3 versions of the single 8 inch, one for folks with E start ,one for people without E-start, and one other that doesn't specify which it is for.

Seeing as how the one that doesn't specify is cheaper by far would it work on my bike? Has anyone else tried this with any success? And lastly what other if any headlights would you guys suggest?

It depends on what you are needing it for. (street use etc.) I went with the PIAA bright light and she seems to really... light up my life

Same thing here... I just needed something to get me back to the camp if I stayed out a little late. The PIAA works really good... it's on $30 and it fits into the stock light shroud.

And if you're looking for a 'different' style/colour of shroud then little mods like this can be done...

Acerbis makes some nice stuff. I would look at their website. It would appear the more you spend, the more light you get. You could even go so far as getting your stator rewound to power some serious bulbs. Depends how far you want to go. Helmet lights help out a lot as well. I use NiteRider halogens and they make all the difference for night riding.
