    AP (O-Ring)

    GUYS,
    Is it compulsary to use the AP oring once i use the JD Kit? no airbox modification or any CCC mods. yoshimura muffler only with stock headers

    Not really. The oring mod will give you a snappier response when turning throttle. I did the mod on my 450r and thought, at first, it really made a difference. After a while, though, I'm not really sure. I left the mod on because it has not adversely affected the bike. The 450r has plenty of snap as it is.

    It's not compulsory but it's still a really good idea. If you do all the mods that are involved with the JD kit (AP O-ring, mains and pilot, and Airbox) you will truly benefit from all there is to offer. Doing only half the mods (or just the easy ones) will leave you wondering why the bike isn't running as good as you would think.
