Just came back from my first ride on this bike .

All I can say is less is definitely more.

Laughed soo much at my buddys trying to keep up in the wet and muddy woods here in the UK on there 450's .

I think i'm going to like this bike

Is it still stock, or have you done any mods yet?

Your buddies aren't gonna want to ride with you anymore.

Especially once you open it up a bit...

~
What would you advise on jetting
I am just going to open up the air box take the flametrap out and fit twin air filter.
I don't think need mess with the pink wire and dont want it any noisier.

Most riding done at 0-1000m above sea level

Do that and get the JD Kit. Makes things easy.

If you just want to do it on your own do this:

Change the needle to the 4th clip.(stock 2nd clip)

Change the main jet to a 158.(stock 130)

Change the pilot jet to a 42.(stock 40)

Open fuel screw to 2 turns from all in.

Makes the bike run way better, start easier and makes a bunch more power.

He ain't kidding Jerry. Those carb changes will make a big difference.

Starts much easier. 10-20 secs with the choke on, then idles almost like it had an EFI system.

I'm running larger main jet (162) because I have opened up the airbox and am running a White Bros E2 exhaust w/o the spark arrestor.

It's easier to do while you are in there. And its easy to just do the o-ring part (that's all most of us do).

I have the whole mod on PDF. PM me with your e-mail and i'll send it to you.

The AP mod will eliminate the off idle bog.

The Boyesen AP cover is designed to refill faster than the stock cover. The fuel supply for the AP is in the cover.

If you are constantly pumping the throttle, you can use up the fuel supply faster than the stock cover can refill and thus not get consistent shots of fuel.

The Boyesen cover is designed to fix that. I think only MX racers would ride in such a manner to need the Boyesen.
