If I had to do it all over again, this site would be a big factor. Limitless advice on everything you can possibly think of. I would go red again so when a problem or concern arises, an answer is always close at hand. Or when it was time to sink some money into the bike I had a place to see whats hot and whats not so hot.

This site has made my stock CRF into the best bike I've ever owned and I know it wouldn't have happened without all the help I've gotten on this stie.

What is a good site for yami parts
    .
There's a lot of sources, check the back of any magazine and you'll find lots of parts ads. Check out the latest Dirt Rider with the 250F shoot-out, page 63.
It seems most of the high wear, engine related parts is where Yamaha really has the prices jacked up. This isn't all that's required for a whole top-end job, but if you compare prices for a piston, valves, springs, gaskets , etc. between the two the Yamaha is another 150 bucks ! Remember, the Yamaha has 5 valves at 80 bucks each.
Check out the radiators, 155.00 and 176.00 for the Honda, 340 and 314 for the Yamaha.
The Yamaha kills us on piston circlips though, 1.16 for the Honda, .19 cents for the Yamaha ! Doug
