I hit some local tasmanian ,derwent vally trails today with the 450r . Still trying to get used to this awsome machine . I think ill change the rear sprocket from 50 to 48 to help me with traction .LOL ah yeah and to help with the front wheel heading skyward unexspectedly . Was hopeing a mate turned up but didnt so i was on my pat malone . Came across a good sized tiger snake about 5 foot or more . Deadly they are so i watched it nick of out of my way . Good ride all the same .Bout 2 hours in the saddle . Ill post a pick if i can work it out .

Sounds interesting. I would love to see some of the area if you have pics.
