Hello; a question to fellow Honda CRF 230 L owners; I just purchased a used bike 5000 miles on it; the person before me had removed the smog equipment and put on an FMF slipon exhaust; I just went all through it cleaned and lubed everything; oil change, check valve clearances, new plug and running non-ethanol fuel for the time being; especially going into winter storage;  the bike started right up after maintenance was completed and seems to run fine. The only thing is off the bottom in first gear; It seems throttle response is a bit snatchy and jerky rather than a smooth response; this is happening only on the very first part of twisting the throttle; after that it’s smooth and linear and I was wondering if anybody had any input or advice on that situation? Classic 230 F and L issue as no accelerator pump.

Try winding idle mixture screw out a quarter of a turn and roll throttle on from idle.
