smog removal and rejetting

Removed my smog parts and jetted my carb with 38/125. Added a battery tender plug and after the test ride, just had to idle it down just a tad. No other modifications needed(and otherwise, bike is stock). Smog removal is straight forward, no instructions needed. Only thing that I was curious about was my kit came with two washer for the needle. I just installed one.

Don't really notice a difference in the way the bike performs, other than it seems to run out a little smoother down low and possibly holds 65 mph better than before, time will tell. I'm just happy to have that cleaned up look to the motor now.

the washers are likely for fine tuning the height of the needle between clip positions.

True, but the kit only mentioned a single washer. I'd read where some people use a couple of #4 washers. I elected to just go with one since the bike is stock.
