    Is there a noticable improvement in running a 16.5 front vs a 17 front? My bike is going to see a lot of street riding.

    I don't think you will have any luck finding 16.5 DOT tires.

    I should have figured that, have you ever ridden slicks on the street? I know from my hot rod experience slicks are sweet for winning races and somewhat streetable just not very long lasting. And then there's the long arm of the law, not to mention slick streets!
