Some Winter riding with Honda crf 450 2011

That was my first test with new bike after my old yamaha yz125 2009 bike. And first time with helmet cam and editing... so sorry for crap quality.

welcome to CRF's Only and congrats on your new CRF! great videos. i have a comment and a couple of questions.

1. i know you said it was the first time using the helmet cam and video editing. but something must be wrong with either your helmet cam or your editing software as one of them made the dirt look white. ;)

2. why is it that helmet cams always make you look slower than you are and the crashes look so benign?

3. were your tires studded both front and rear?

4. where is this riding area you were at?

again, welcome and congrats!

1. Maybe there is something wrong with my settings or it was just snow :P

3. yes both tires was studded
4. vesivehmaa finland

and yeah honda start feel quite great, just quite more heavy than yz, but not bad at all

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you get around pretty good on the snow.

Awesome video!! I'm from Ontario Canada and ride in the winter too.

When it is just freezing or below and the trails have been groomed or ridden over with sleds and are hard packed, it's unbelievable how fast you can ride and hit corners (mostly at the top of 3rd and 4th gear riding)! The tires hook up incredibly well.

I went over my bars too last winter haha.

Did you have to jet the 450? I ride a '04 250r and it ran well with the stock jetting.

Also what tires/size were you running?

that snow really keeps the dust down...but given those studded tires i'll still follow rather than lead! ;-)
