Hi All,

After riding I noticed coolant slowly leaking from the weep hole under the water pump. From doing some research I am thinking I have a bad seal on the water pump. Any one else run into this issue that might have some recommendations for a potential fix?

When replacing the seal make sure it goes back in the right way around.

Check out the shaft the seal runs on to make sure it isn't badly grooved.
It may need linishing to smooth it out a bit. If heavily grooved or scarred may have to replace shaft.

Look at the workshop manual as to how to remove it for your bike.
Will involve some gaskets to get in there as well normally.

You will might need to replace gearbox oil.
