Well Ladies... The Desert Isn't Safe Anymore...

I am waiting on the call to go pick up my NEW 2008 CRF450X!!! I am sooooo excited! Talked the dealership down from $8900.00 (plus all the dealsership fees, etc) to $6800.00 out the door!!!
Pictures will come once I get it. The work day is going by soooo slow just waiting on the call!
I'm kinda bummed the NHRA Drag Races are in town this weekend or I'd tag along on the girl's ride.
However, where is everyone riding at for Thanksgiving?

Lucky you! A 450! I sure wish I had mine still when I ride in the desert. Im always looking for an extra gear on the 250 and it's just not there. The 250 seems so slow in the desert. But the 450 wears me out quicker that's for sure! Just holdin on. If your a girl you probably already know hitting the gym will help a lot with that. I havent been in the gym in a long while and rode a 450 recently just for a short ride and my forearms were aching. Of course I had to open it up because that is what makes those big bikes so fun!

I picked her up last night!!! I got the call and was gone like the wind LOL She's sooooo puurrrrrrdddyyy!

And yes... I am going to start hitting the gym. I use to have the 450R, but I sold it awhile ago and haven't been on a bike since so I know I am wayyyyyy out of riding shape. But it gives me a reason to go which I dig! Plus my complex have a mini-Bally's so I have no excuse
