I've never been to either of them but Tailings Pond Rings a Bell. I think I came across it on on of the Backroad map Books a long time ago when looking for places to ride.

Well if i do get to ride them i'll post what i thought of them. If you wanna know more about either one i got them from a link in this thread. Http://www.davenorona.com/moto/areas.htm. I've heard from a few places about Blue Mountain and every one says it can get pretty busy.

i was at mcnutt(blue mountain)friday, the roadin to the main trail entrance is snowy but the trails are in good shape, carry a saw as theres alot of deadfall.

i have been riding cattermole in chilliwack most the winter, its only a small track and beach stuff but keeps you off the couch.

i hear vedder is getting better as well.

i will be goin to mcnutt again this week for more trail clearing if needed.

Hey guys.... if been out to vedder the last three weekends, still too much snow near the top but some of the single tracks are good now. Looks like the local riding club has been busy making new and clearing old trails.

Quads are allowed up there.....I don't know why though ;)

Are you sure about the quads being allowed? I'm assuming there is only one spot where the trails start just off Parmenter Rd right? If that is the spot then the rules got changed cause that sign on up on a tree to the right of the road said no quads. I asked a guy who was riding up there and he said the mountain is privately owned and maintained and quads cause to much damage to the trails so thats why they are banned.

What did your dad buy? Mine bought a 230 on Saturday. He's only had mini bikes all his life so thats a big bike for him. I was gonna go riding with him this weekend but i have 5 midterms next week so i need to study.[/quote]

ICBC basic insurance is approx. $356/year for 400cc and less. For 401cc to 750cc is approx $822/year. This is for a rider with maximum discounts. Collision and Comprehensive would be extra.
