Plainfield CT, I just bought a CRF50 for my 8 year old son. Now I need to find something for me. Not sure if I want a KTM or a CRF150.

I live in Fairfield Cty and ride as much as possible at the Thomaston Dam. Bikes only which is awesome and all the trails are marked and one way so there's a reduced chance of a collision...It also has a decent variety of trails. I have a little track in my back yard which is used mostly by my son and his buddies.

Hey mark and taxman, i live in new hampshire too, about 20 mins out of concord, where do you two ride? the best places i know of are claremont and cloughs state park. i know of others too but these seem to be the best to me. a bunch of the claremont trails have recently closed, but still have far more riding than cloughs.. have you guys been anywhere else?

i have heard that tons and tons of trails have opened in berlin, but havent had a chance to get up there because itd have to be a weekend trip, have either of you been anywhere else you like? or any motocross tracks?

Im originally from Branford CT...Now in Waterbury CT.

We ride @ rocky hill MX Track....Thomaston Dam....We used to ride at south windsor @ the indoor track (mototownusa). Some places in north haven that weren't exactly legal, and also Rhode Island dunes which aren't legal either.

Saratoga Springs, NY. Riding on private property in Schenectady County right now, but if I can find another pokey new rider to go with, I'm game to go somewhere else. :D

New York State sort of sucks. There's almost no riding on public land like...oh...the 6 MILLION ACRES in the Adirondack Park. You'd think they could spare a few acres for off road recreation, but somebody might accidentally run over a bug...not that I'm bitter or anything.

There are a few clubs with land and MX tracks, but all of them involve a pretty good drive.
