Need advice on Riding areas around Denver

    by bbf501 » Fri Mar 05, 2010 9:14 am

    Hello,

My family are coming to Denver/Aurora area for the Fireworks Softball Tournament in June. I am considering bringing my bike as is another 1 of the Dad's. I was hoping to get some advice on riding areas within a reasonable drive of Aurora. Our bikes are off road only so nothing were I'd need a dual sport. I'd prefer trail type riding so that we can enjoy the area. Also, if there's a forum where a lot of Denver/Colorado riders post I'd appreciate a link. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Here are a few links to some areas. If you are looking for trails I suggest Rampart Range. About an hour drive from Aurora, huge network of great single track. Gets pretty busy on weekends, so I suggest planning weekday rides.
