Do you want trails, tracks, or just desert/gravel pit type riding?

There's a track right by the southern-most highway entrance to Rexburg. Noise Park is located west of IF on Broadway. There are some pumice pits in the foothills east of IF (you won't get bored). Trails are everywhere in pretty much any direction. There are some pretty commonly used trails in Fall Creek by Palisades. The riding here is some of the best in the world, you just have to find someone who knows it and go with them.

so i went out to st. anthony sand dunes this weekend. the sand was a little wet and i had blast. it defiantly changed my mind about sand dunes in general and i look forward to going again. the CRF 450 R is killer in the sand!

There is a trail that will take you to the top of Caribou MT. It is a great ride that my grandma can do on her four wheeler, but I can still have fun on my bike (CR 500 or my CRF 150). The scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities are amazing.
Go to Freedom Wyoming, head east on HWY 34, after about 7 or so miles you will see a 2 track dirt road with a US forest service sign that says BRIDGE CREEK. We unload there and it is a full day ride from there to the top of the mountain, down to Grays Lake Idaho and back home on the bridge creek road. There is an old mining shaft on the North West side of Caribou mountain that is fun to explore.
There is still a lot of snow on the peak, give it another month before you try the ride.
