Group of us here in East Tennessee are talking about heading down to Highland park in North Ga at the end of April for a overnight trip, thought I would post here in case anyone was interested in joining us. Details are below.

Posting this in advance so that everyone interested has time to schedule and we can get a good count. Looks like several were interested in the dirt forum.
Tentative April 27 - 29 *Can move up or back a week, depending on everyone’s schedule, weather, etc *
This will be an overnight trip, probably camping onsite. Leave Knoxville Friday morning and come back Sat evening. Estimate 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from K-town.
If anyone needs transport for their bike I will be taking my 3 rail trailer.
Details for the park follow:

Camping
Tent camping is available at Highland Park Resort, or you can camp in your self contained RV. (We do not yet have hook ups for RV's) Camping cabins are under construction but not yet ready. Porta Potties are on site until bathroom/shower construction is completed. Excellent well water is available on site - bring your own jug. Small camp fires and cooking are OK. Tent camping or self-contained RV camping is only $5/night.
Rules to take note of, most are common sense:
Helmet, eye protection, shirt, and over the ankle leather boots required. Full riding gear is strongly suggested and highly recommended!
1. NO LOUD EXHAUSTS
You MUST have a quiet muffler, and we will help you get it quiet! We have muffler packing available, quiet high performance pipes & mufflers, and we have exclusive Kevlar exhaust extensions you can rent for $5, installation included. Please ask us - we want you to ride, and we will help you get your bike quiet. You must have your vehicle checked with our decibel meter at registration or prior to riding. 96 db is the limit.
2. STAY OUT OF THE MOUNTAIN STREAMS
We have some gorgeous mountain streams at Highland Park, and they are all protected by the Environmental Protection Dept (EPD). Our trails have bridges at stream crossings, as required by the EPD. The EPD will occasionally have agents on site checking us out, and if you are seen riding in or across a mountain stream, you may be subject to a $10,000 fine and/or jail time. DON'T DO IT!
3. DO NOT LITTER -No Glass, no tear off lenses
