Is anyone near Jacksonville, FL? I just got a 250X a few weeks ago and I'm looking for places to go and people to ride with.

I'm in Jacksonville! We spend most of our time at the Hilliard track(our favorite), or Bostwick MX. Every once in a while we make it to Ocala Nat'l Forest. There's still a few tracks we haven't made it to.

What type of riding are you planning on doing with the new 250x?

I'm planning on mainly woods riding, but who knows. I'd be up for anything. I've never ridden on a track, so I would definitely like to try it to see what it's all about.

I just found out the other day that a guy I know has about 600 acres out in Callahan and he's thinking about buying a bike himself, so that will probably end up being the place I go the most. I definitely want to go to Ocala though. I've been to Hilliard once on a buddy's bike, but I didn't ride on the track. We just rode it around in the woods.

I used to live there. Dont miss it. Heck, the guy with 600 acres can make a private test track! I am in Atlanta, and a friend of ours made a private test track on his farm. Pretty bad a#@, but one of his jumps wasnt cut right and killed my knee....hee hee. Find a good place to ride there and I will come home and harass the neighbors! Georgia has killer places to ride.

I'm in Lakeland and ride at the Lakeland track and there is one in Mulberry not to far away from here. I'm going this Saturday to the Bartow track for soem night time racing. Bartow has a web site and Lakeland does too I'll put the links up. I've been wanting to goto Ocala but can't see shelling out 50 bucks plus only 2 of my 4 bikes are titled so I can only take my sons 50 and my 230 up there so my youngest is SOL until I move his brother up to a 70 or a 80. Of Coarse I can always title his quad and my pitbike.

Went to the Hilliard track for the first time two weeks ago. Had a blast except for crashing twice;) Put new back brakes on my bike and forgot to pump them. heheheh that second corner that is toward the owners house almost got me.

I'll be going back a few times this month.

You're talking about that left turn in the back? That first little jump right after that corner you're talking about is the tricky one for me, but once I pass that, those three tables in the back are my favorite part! I love that track!

hey everyone, noob on here, been riding bike for 24 yrs. now off and on, mainly street at that. i ride a mildly modified 230f (soon to be all-out-woodsblaster), w/ custom front suspension and ALL the goodies. the Ocala forest is NOT very good riding, actually, i found it boring. i do most of my riding at hard rock on the hare scramble "courses" (woods). there are a lot of elevation changes and quite a few technical sections as well. on top of that, there are 3 outdoor tracks (the big track, the sand track and the outback) plus a peewee track. its tons of fun, i plan on riding croom soon, gotta get my AMA and FTR cards so i can start racing the enduro races,,,

River City Dirt Riders is a Jacksonville based club. They are a family club that has property in Macclenny with trails. They meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 at Bonos on Bowden road. If you are interested in joining come to a meeting.

I bought a 250x last week and also live in Jax. Went to Durham town plantation North of Macon last week..........unbelievable. I'll never go back to the Ocala forest again.

im in west palm if u want a track u should go to seminole its about 5 hours away but its totally worth it we should set up a day to ride together by the way you know any one who is intrested in a 2003 xr100r im tryin to sell mine so i can get a 125 pm me for details
