HELP!! I am looking for some info from you New Mexico riders. I live in west Texas and we are looking at doing some mountain riding this summer to get away from the heat. Roads are not an option for us, since we will have my 8 year old with us. He is an excellent rider, but getting him a DL would be kinda difficult. I am looking for somewhere in or around the Sacramento or Guadalupe Ranger districts. I would prefer a cabin but will camp. I want access to trails without having to trailer the bikes or ride on roads. Any suggestions? Please help, I live far enough away that just going up there on a scouting trip is really not feasible.

look in the cloudcroft area good trails in that part of the woods...you can rent cabin/motel in cloudcroft but access to trails will be on paved and dirt roads
