I rode at the Stillwater 500 the other day they had some great trails, what other places are close to Tulsa?

Gruber is a pretty cool place to ride it is about 30 to 45 minutes form Tulsa located outside of Muskogee next to Braggs, OK. Lots of rocks (which I love).

i am in rogers ar white rock is about 1 hour south east of me great place to ride. i have a bike with a chadwick permit for 2008 it was on the bike when i got it. do not know how it is.

I will be looking for close places to trail ride near Tulsa/Owasso. I should be picking up a CRF250X this week some time. I'll need some fairly mild trails as it has been over 15 years since I've ridden. No need to be crazy and break stuff now! Any ideas? How is Keystone?

Keystone is fun, but watch out for quick-sand. Been there, done that!

I did pick up the bike. Nice 04 250X with a steering dampener, rear disc guard, radiator gourds, nice bark busters and so on. It needs some cleaning and a new rear tire, but it starts up fast and runs fast. Good enough to hurt myself on!

There have been only a couple decent days to go since we got it, and I had to work for those. I'm ready to go ride. We will most likely hit Appalachia bay to start with and go from there. I've ridden before, but that was 15 years ago and not much even then. I'm pretty much a beginner, so I'll get to take it easy anywhere we go.

I'm in Owasso (Tulsa). I would love to make it over that way. I hear the trails in Stillwater are fantastic! We went riding last Saturday just north of Grove on a friend's property. It is an old rock quarry, and he's created a bunch of trails since he bought it. It was a great ride for someone with limited experience like me. I absolutely loved the CRF250X for the ride. It really liked to go!

Is the Stillwater 500 trails or is it a track? I'm pretty sure tracks are not for me, but woods trails I can definitely go for. Shoot me an email. [email protected] . My wife goes to school in Stillwater, so she's over there all the time. We have a TTR125 for her to ride, but she's only ridden in a field. I need to get her on some trails.

We just rode at Crossbarranch.com Their website says it is 6,500 acres, but the brochure says 2,800. Either way is was huge and a blast to ride.

It has a blue loop which wasn't all that fun. No trees to speak of, winding trails, and not very scenic. An ok warmup, but not worth the trip.

The red loop was awesome. Lots of hills through creeks and trees. A few really rocky places that were tough but manageable. Very scenic.

This park has 2 or 3 huge loop trails (24 miles of trails) which made is easy for my group to keep together. We had 10, 6 kids under 13, and 4 adults.

Very nice camping area with bathroom facilities- primitive but nice. The place is only 4 years old so it is in good shape. We saw 3 other groups the entire day. $10 per adult, $5 per kid.
