A couple of us are going to Penny Pines this Saturday. If anyone wants to join us we will stage at the Middle Creek area just before you go up the hill around 9am. :)

I have never ridden PPines yet, but my buddy works for state parks designing and building ohv so he or whoever will lead since i'm not familiar with the area. We are B+ ridders that would love to have another experienced ridder that knows the area join us! Byron

It is the middle creek staging area down below Penny pines. If everyone is B+ I would start down there. If you have any kids or not so good riders the problem is trail 1 black diamond or 4 hard blue circle trails are the only ways to get up to the trails. The advantage is that it saves you 30 minutes in the truck. It looks like I'm in and I will meet you there at 9:00

    Hey all,

I have been wanting to head out to that area. Not sure if Saturday is going to work with the warden (wife) though......
How far from Sacramento is the middle Creek staging area?
